Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Beckhoff PLC programmer to join our automation team. You will develop and commission control systems using TwinCAT 3, spanning programming, debugging and on-site validation for modern manufacturing and logistics projects.

Approximately 60% of the year is spent traveling to client sites in Germany, especially Berlin and Dresden. Work patterns typically involve three weeks onsite followed by about a week back home in Poland.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of Beckhoff PLC programming experience.
Higher technical education: Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics or related.
Experience with TwinCAT 3 development.
Willingness to travel about 60% (Germany trips).
English B2 level; Polish fluency.
Based in Poland with valid driving license B.

Responsibilities

Program PLC drivers (Beckhoff) in TwinCAT 3.
Develop and modify PLC software.
Support commissioning of machines and systems.
Debug and troubleshoot automation systems.
Integrate and test machine functions.
Assist during FAT/SAT activities.
Commission systems on-site in Berlin.
Potential support near Dresden.
Collaborate with robot programming team.
Create technical documentation and software updates.

Job description

Join the team working on advanced projects in the field of process automation for transport, material handling, and assembly. We create solutions used in modern manufacturing plants and logistics centers, where reliability, efficiency, and precision are crucial. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and commissioning of control systems based on Beckhoff technology, participating in the full project cycle – from programming and testing to commissioning directly at the client’s site.

Approximately 60% of the time throughout the year will be spent traveling to clients in the Berlin and Dresden areas. Projects are most often carried out in a model of 3 weeks onsite, followed by about a week off in Poland.

Requirements
