Job summary

Allegro is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a platform engineering team responsible for JVM and .NET health, DevOps tooling, CI/CD, observability, and deployment infrastructure across FinTech products.

You will ensure platform reliability, cost efficiency, and developer velocity. The role requires expertise in either .NET or Java and strong cloud and CI/CD capabilities, with hybrid work from Warsaw.

Qualifications

Must be an engineer specializing in either Java or .NET.
Proven experience leading cross-functional platform engineering teams.
Strong background in cloud infrastructure, DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Leads and manages a cross-functional platform engineering team.
Drives platform adoption and removes blockers across product teams.
Oversees infrastructure provisioning, cloud resource management, and container orchestration on AKS.
Coordinates fleet-scale JVM and .NET migrations and upgrades.
Optimizes CI/CD pipelines and canary deployments for safety and cost efficiency.
Integrates AI tools into platform workflows to boost developer velocity company-wide.
Manages capacity, cloud budgeting (Azure) and team ceremonies; conducts 1:1 reviews.
