Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to design and evolve the M&O platform, emphasizing observability, data quality, and scalable cloud-based data pipelines.

You will drive reliability, proactive issue detection, and centralized dashboards using Grafana, Power BI, and Databricks, while implementing IaC and CI/CD. The role involves Azure services (AKS, Azure SQL Server) and FinOps practices.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and evolve the core M&O platform for observability and data quality.
Ensure reliability, performance, and SRE-aligned design of critical applications and data infrastructure.
Develop proactive issue detection and automated or semi-automated resolution for issues across operational and data systems.
Implement data quality monitoring across pipelines (Timeliness, Consistency, Completeness, Accuracy, Validity, Uniqueness).
Create centralized dashboards with Grafana, Power BI, Databricks for stakeholders.
Automate infrastructure with IaC, CI/CD, and scripting (Python, Shell).
Integrate Azure cloud technologies (AKS, Azure SQL Server, Databricks) into the platform.
Optimize cloud resources and FinOps reporting to control costs.
