Job summary

Lingaro is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to architect and evolve the M&O platform with strong observability and data quality capabilities. You will implement SRE-driven reliability, automated diagnostics, and cost-aware cloud operations within Azure-based environments.

You will design pipelines and dashboards (Grafana/Power BI/Databricks), automate through IaC (Terraform/Ansible) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions) while integrating Docker/Kubernetes for scalable data services.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including both PaaS and IaaS services.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for Azure-based environments.
• Practical knowledge of administering Linux and Windows virtual machines.
• Experience working with containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to create and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with code quality and security analysis tools, particularly SonarQube.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform and Ansible.
• Good understanding of networking principles and practices in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to system integrations.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability solutions, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or comparable technology stacks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and evolve the core M&O platform and services with observability and data quality.
• Maintain stability, availability, and performance of critical applications and data infrastructure using SRE principles.
• Develop and integrate intelligent systems to diagnose and resolve issues automatically across data systems.
• Measure and report data quality across Warehousing, Transformation, SAP, Manufacturing, and data sources.
• Build a unified dashboarding interface (Grafana, Power BI, Databricks) for KPIs and insights.
• Drive automation via IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (Python, Shell).
• Integrate Azure, AKS, Kafka, Databricks, Flink, and related tech for seamless data flows.
• Embed FinOps reporting to monitor cloud resources and costs.
• Analyze incidents and trends to improve platform and monitoring capabilities.
• Ensure data integrity and auditability for regulatory compliance.
