Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a Training & Development lead to coordinate plant-wide training and mentoring, manage the Skills Management system, and ensure consistent execution of training standards to support operational excellence and growth.

You will recruit and develop local mentors, organize both on-the-job and classroom training, and monitor progress with regular reporting to stakeholders, while maintaining training documentation and collaborating with Corporate Training.

Qualifications

• University degree in Education, Manufacturing, Adult Learning, Learning & Development or related fields.
• Health & Safety (Occupational Safety Training).
• Company Policies and Code of Conduct.
• Train the trainer training.
• Training in On-the-Job Training methodologies.
• Employee may be required to complete additional training as directed by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training activities across plant functions to support KPI targets.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop local mentors (trainers).
• Plan, organize, and coordinate training activities for on-the-job and classroom-based training.
• Organize and supervise the employee skills assessment process.
• Monitor training plans, prepare reports, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Promote training initiatives through internal communications.
• Coordinate induction programs and learning plans for employees.
• Maintain training documentation and compliance records.
• Collaborate with Group / Corporate Training Team on global solutions.
• Travel up to 10% to support other sites and projects.
