Job summary

CANPACK Group seeks a Training & Development professional to coordinate plant-wide training, manage the Skills Management system, and mentor local trainers to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities include coordinating on‑the‑job and classroom training, skills assessments, reporting, and collaboration with the corporate training team to implement global solutions at plant level. Strong facilitation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in training, learning & development within manufacturing.
• Ability to plan and coordinate training activities in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong facilitation, communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to deliver training, workshops, and skills assessments.
• Ability to analyze training data and report progress clearly.
• Ability to influence supervisors, mentors and trainers without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Act as a local administrator and key user of the Skills Management IT system, ensuring data accuracy.
• Recruit, onboard and develop local mentors and trainers, preparing and validating their activities.
• Plan and coordinate training activities supporting KPI goals in collaboration with departments; include on‑the‑job and classroom training.
• Organize and supervise employee skills assessments and validate skill proficiency.
• Monitor training plans, prepare reports, and communicate progress and gaps to stakeholders.
• Promote training initiatives through internal channels to ensure visibility of capability building.
• Coordinate induction programs and learning plans for new hires for a structured start-up.
• Maintain training documentation and compliance-related materials; work with Group/Corporate Training Team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by people leader.
