Johnston Meier Insurance Agencies Group is seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor for our Whatcom Rd. office in Abbotsford, BC.

If you have a General Insurance Level 2 License (or Level 1 and working toward Level 2) and at least one year of Personal Lines office experience, we'd like to hear from you. You will provide outstanding customer service, prepare renewal terms and quotes, and support underwriters and clients while maintaining a paperless record system.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 General Insurance Salesperson License, or Level 1 and working on achieving a Level 2 License within 18 months
• Level 2 License preferred
• At least two years of insurance office experience
• Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers, and team members
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service
• Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
• Company Portal knowledge is an asset
• Computer skills, including Word & Excel

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Provide renewal terms and optional quotes when required
• Update evaluators when necessary
• Provide new quotes on all Personal Lines types of business
• Offer additional products to provide Complete Customer Portfolios
• Keep detailed notes on our Computer System at all times (Paperless Environment)
• Keep abeyances updated and current
• Accounts receivable
