Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related engineering field.
• Experience with Python, Go, Bash or similar scripting languages.
• Fluent in Linux CLI and deep Linux internals; knowledge of networks and distributed systems.
• Experience in SQL queries for trend analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Improve Akamai's content delivery products through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decisions.
• Respond to escalations for capacity impact evaluation.
• Design strategies to allocate global capacity across products for efficiency and resilience.
• Engineer global traffic policies to improve latency and availability.
