Job summary

Akamai Technologies in Kraków is seeking a Network Infrastructure Operations professional to monitor and maintain global hardware and network components. You will work with a worldwide team to diagnose issues remotely and coordinate with data centers and partners for installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities include monitoring alarms, responding to alerts, and resolving high-severity incidents while creating runbooks to improve fault detection and operational visibility.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of network fundamentals and hardware components.
• Experience with data center portals and monitoring tools.
• Experience in a NOC or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage remote hardware assets and troubleshoot issues remotely.
• Monitor servers, routers, switches, and OS alarms.
• Respond to alerts per SLA and assess severity.
• Diagnose switch/router problems to ensure Akamai platform stability.
• Collaborate with field technicians, data centers, and partners for installation and maintenance.
• Support resolution of high-severity incidents and develop runbooks.
