Aon seeks a People Process Optimization & Controls Manager to lead teams responsible for HR controls, data quality, process optimization, and operational support for Workday HCM. You will ensure reliable, well-governed People processes while delivering an excellent colleague experience.

You will collaborate with global HR leaders, HR Systems, Finance, and process owners to improve service delivery, performance, and risk management across Aon’s HR operations worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading teams within HR Operations, Shared Services, HR Systems, Process Excellence, Data Quality, Audit, or related operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, governance, controls, operational risk management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working with Workday HCM or a comparable Human Capital Management platform, including business processes, testing, releases, and change implementation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence across a global matrix organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and fluent English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR data quality, control, and audit activities to ensure accuracy and compliance across Workday HCM and related People processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and optimize HR processes while enhancing efficiency and user experience.
  • Manage governance frameworks, risk identification, issue resolution, and escalation processes to strengthen operational control.
  • Oversee Workday process changes, including testing, impact assessments, release readiness, and adoption of new capabilities.
  • Partner with People Operations leaders, HR Technology teams, Finance and process owners to improve service delivery.

What the day will look like

As the People Process Optimization & Controls Manager, you will lead teams responsible for HR controls, data quality, process optimization, and operational support for Workday HCM. You will play a key role in ensuring that People processes are reliable, well-governed, and continuously improved while creating an excellent colleague experience.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Leading HR data quality, control, and audit activities to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance across Workday HCM and related People processes.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives that simplify, standardize, and optimize HR processes while enhancing efficiency and user experience.
  • Managing governance frameworks, risk identification, issue resolution, and escalation processes to strengthen operational control and compliance.
  • Overseeing support for Workday process changes, including testing, impact assessments, release readiness activities, and adoption of new capabilities.
  • Partnering with People Operations leaders, HR Technology teams, Finance, process owners, and other stakeholders to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Establishing reporting, service performance measures, and governance routines that provide visibility into risks, priorities, and performance outcomes.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring process documentation, standard operating procedures, control descriptions, and job aids are maintained and updated to support operational excellence.
