Just Eat Takeaway.com is hiring a Payroll Compliance Specialist to guard data accuracy for our German payroll operations. Based in a collaborative HR hub in Germany or Poland, you’ll bridge stakeholder inputs, integrations, and flawless execution.

About this role

Payroll isn’t just about cutting checks—it’s about the data integrity that keeps the whole engine running smoothly. As our Payroll Compliance Specialist, you will be the guardian of data accuracy for our German payroll operations.

Based in one of our collaborative HR Hubs in either Germany or Poland, you will bridge the gap between stakeholder inputs, technical integrations, and flawless execution. If you have an analytical eye, a knack for spotting data discrepancies before they become issues, and a desire to optimize workflows, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will ensure our payroll data is pristine, compliant, and processed seamlessly. Your daily playground will involve:

• Stakeholder Data Management: Coordinate and manage data inputs from various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all submissions are timely and complete.
• Data Validation & Accuracy: Review, verify, and clean all data submitted to payroll to guarantee maximum accuracy before final processing.
• Compliance Auditing: Perform rigorous, routine audits on payroll data to ensure absolute alignment with internal policies and German regulatory standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify patterns in data errors and uncover opportunities to improve data quality, streamline workflows, and eliminate manual fixes.
• Integration & System Support: Oversee and understand the data flow and integrations between our HR systems and payroll platforms, ensuring data transfers smoothly without losing its integrity.

Requirements

We are looking for a tech-savvy data enthusiast who communicates with ease across borders. Here is what you need to bring to the table:

• Language Proficiency: Minimum B2 level in German and / or any other European language will be a plus and B2 level in English. You will need both to collaborate with local authorities, internal teams, and international stakeholders.
• Technical Mindset: You don’t need to be a software engineer, but you do need to comfortably understand and manage system integrations and how data flows between platforms.
• Tool Savvy: Highly proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) or Google Suite (Google Sheets) for data tracking and analysis.
• Payroll Knowledge: Basic knowledge of payroll concepts is a strong advantage, though a sharp analytical mindset and eagerness to learn are just as critical.
• Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for detail and a structured, methodical approach to troubleshooting data discrepancies.
