Job summary

Estarta Poland is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support multi-country payroll across EMEA on a maternity leave cover. The role combines in-house processing with vendor coordination in a hybrid or fully remote setup.

You will handle payroll processes, tax submissions, and reporting, collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance while navigating changing regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, ideally multi-country/EMEA exposure.
• Strong Excel skills with large datasets.
• Experience with data validation, reporting and data analysis.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, independent and team-oriented approach.
• Confidentiality and good judgment.
• Professional written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Managing and reviewing payroll processes, both in-house and with local vendors.
• Controlling payroll-related payments to employees, Tax Authorities and Social Security Offices.
• Ensuring payroll compliance and providing employee support.
• Preparing payroll-related journal entries for the General Ledger.
• Preparing monthly wage tax returns.
• Acting as a key point of contact for HR and Finance stakeholders.
• Supporting financial analysis and planning related to payroll.
• Assessing the impact of legislative changes on social security, benefits and wage taxes.
• Preparing reports and transforming payroll data into meaningful insights.

Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for an opportunity to work in an international environment and support payroll processes across multiple EMEA countries?

We are looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our team on a long-term maternity leave cover.

Work model: Hybrid preferred, with the possibility of fully remote work

Contract: Temporary employment contract for the duration of the maternity leave cover

Scope: Multiple EMEA countries

What will you do?

• Managing and reviewing payroll processes, both in-house and with local vendors
• Controlling payroll-related payments to employees, Tax Authorities and Social Security Offices
• Ensuring payroll compliance and providing employee support
• Preparing payroll-related journal entries for the General Ledger
• Preparing monthly wage tax returns
