Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Packet Core Specialist to support end-to-end delivery of Packet Core solutions. You will deploy, configure, validate, and upgrade network elements, collaborating with architects, project managers, customers, and support teams to meet project requirements and quality standards.

You will work with 4G/5G core networks, 3GPP standards, and Linux/Unix environments, performing testing, migration, and documentation.

Qualifications

Experience with Packet Core deployment, integration, or operations in telecom environments.
Strong knowledge of 4G/5G Core Networks and related technologies (MME, AMF, NRF, NSSF, SGSN).
Understanding of 3GPP standards, telecom architectures, interfaces, and signaling procedures.
Experience with software installation, configuration, testing, migration, and upgrade activities.
Hands-on troubleshooting, incident management, and technical support experience.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and telecom delivery processes.
Experience with MOPs, ATPs, integration procedures, release management, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of ticketing and support tools such as Jira or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

Deploy, integrate, and configure Packet Core network elements.
Prepare and validate implementation procedures, templates, and technical documentation.
Execute system, functional, and acceptance tests.
Troubleshoot technical issues and support incident resolution.
Perform software upgrades, migration, and feature activation activities.
Collaborate with project, customer, and support teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvements, and technical documentation.
