Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Poznań is seeking a skilled Packet Core engineer to support end-to-end delivery of Packet Core solutions. You will deploy, configure, test, and integrate network elements, working with architects, project managers, customers and support teams to meet project requirements and quality standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on deployment, integration, and upgrades, with a strong focus on 4G/5G core technologies and telecom signaling, plus collaboration and documentation

Qualifications

• Experience with Packet Core deployment, integration, or operations in telecom environments.
• Strong knowledge of 4G/5G Core Networks and 3GPP signaling.
• Understanding of telecom architectures, interfaces, and signaling procedures.
• Experience with software installation, configuration, testing, migration, and upgrade activities.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, incident management, and technical support.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and telecom delivery processes.
• Knowledge of MOPs, ATPs, integration procedures, release management, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of ticketing and support tools such as Jira or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, and configure Packet Core network elements.
• Prepare and validate implementation procedures, templates, and technical documentation.
• Execute system, functional, and acceptance tests.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support incident resolution.
• Perform software upgrades, migration, and feature activation activities.
• Collaborate with project, customer, and support teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvements, and technical documentation.
