Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks an experienced Packet Core professional to support end-to-end delivery, including deployment, integration, validation, and upgrades of Packet Core elements. You will work with architects, PMs, customers, and support teams to ensure high-quality delivery across the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include configuring Packet Core components, validating procedures, performing tests, and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with Packet Core deployment, integration, or operations in telecom environments.
• Strong knowledge of 4G/5G Core Networks and Packet Core technologies (GGSN, SGSN, PGW, SGW, MME, AMF, SMF, UPF).
• Understanding of telecom protocols, network architectures, and 3GPP standards.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, and configure Packet Core network elements.
• Prepare and validate implementation procedures, templates, and technical documentation.
• Execute system, functional, and acceptance tests.
• Troubleshoot issues and support incident resolution.
• Perform software upgrades, migration, and feature activation.
• Collaborate with project, customer, and support teams.
