Job summary

CoreWeave seeks a Software Engineer for the OS Automation Platform to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs used to deploy node software across CoreWeave-owned and Omni environments.

You will develop constraint-solver services, Kubernetes-native testing frameworks, and manage image releases, provisioning, and configuration compatibility during EMEA/APAC hours, including on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• 3+ years building and operating backend services or platforms.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Python with API design experience.
• Experience designing REST, gRPC, Protobuf or Connect-RPC interfaces.
• Ability to model complex relationships using graphs or constraint solving.
• Solid understanding of Linux boot, provisioning, OS images, and cloud-init.
• Hands-on debugging across Linux kernels, storage, networking, and Kubernetes initialization.
• Experience operating production services and participating in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for node software deployment.
• Develop constraint-solver services and Kubernetes-native end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Own image releases, boot/provisioning, and configuration compatibility for multiple regions.
• Operate and monitor production platforms, contributing to automation and reliability.
