Job summary

CoreWeave is the Essential Cloud for AI. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Network Development Team, designing and maintaining networking software powering our GPU cloud in Warsaw.

You will write Python and Go, build automation tooling, and collaborate with Network Engineering and Observability to keep the platform reliable and scalable. You will lead complex projects, mentor peers, and contribute to a culture focused on innovation, robustness, and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building/operating production infrastructure or backends at scale.
• Proficiency in Python and Go.
• Strong CI/CD experience including testing, code reviews, and deployments.
• Solid understanding of runtime health management for enterprise services.
• Love of automation and toil-elimination with experience in workflow automation or provisioning at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and long-term health of platforms that automate the network, including config generation, device provisioning, and APIs.
• Plan complex projects months in advance and manage multiple efforts in parallel.
• Lead technical direction via RFCs, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Write well-tested, well-documented Python/Go code and enforce quality through CI/CD.
• Improve reliability by defining SLIs/SLAs and reducing manual toil through automation.
• Partner with Network Engineering, Observability, Fleet, and HPC teams to integrate automation with the broader system.
• Join on-call rotation after ramping and provide blameless post-incident reviews.
• Mentor engineers, review code, and help grow the team's skills.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.
