Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is recruiting a Lead Specialist for the Account Opening team in Kraków. You will gather and analyze information, prepare documentation, update internal systems, communicate with funds and transfer agents, and provide client updates throughout the opening process.

You’ll act as SME, review colleagues' work, ensure quality, and train new team members. The role requires strong English, research and analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in investment funds or custody operations is preferred.
• Strong English skills (C1) are required.
• Research, analysis and problem resolution skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in the team for fund documents, forms and reports.
• Review documents prepared by teammates for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure daily tasks are completed with high quality and timeliness.
• Prioritize work under time pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Escalate high-exposure issues and communicate with internal/external parties.
• Interact professionally via email, phone or chat; use appropriate tools.

About The Team

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Lead Specialist to join our Account Opening team. In this role you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing information; preparing documentation for opening and maintaining accounts with transfer agencies; updating internal systems; communicating with funds, transfer agents, vendors; providing updates to the client throughout account opening process; preparing different kinds of reports.

In Our Team, You Will Be Responsible For

• Act as SME in your team: analyze Fund’s official documents, application forms, contract notes and be able to use information to prepare documents required to open and maintain accounts with transfer agencies, prepare reports, take leadership in different production cases.
• Check the documentations prepared by the other specialists in the team.
• Ensure daily tasks are met consistently with high quality and timeliness.
• Prioritize tasks accordingly and be able to work under time pressure
• Identify, communicate, and properly escalat[e] potential issue and cases with high exposure
• Communicate professionally and constructively with internal and external parties via email, phone or in direct conversion
• Utilize and operate all tools and technology appropriate to the role.
• Provide training and assisting in development of new team members.
• Constantly seek opportunity to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Assist in creating and updating procedures as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of work experience. Investment Funds knowledge and/or custody operations understanding is an advantage
• Strong English skills (C1)
