Job summary

ALTEN Polska seeks a Senior Operations Specialist in the aviation sector to lead process optimization and systems integration across finance and operations. You will map data, define requirements, coordinate PO processes, and develop dashboards while collaborating with multiple stakeholders and vendors.

The role involves remote work with monthly travel to Prague and a clear career path within a leading engineering and IT services group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior-level experience in Finance and/or Operations.
• Experience in business process analysis and optimization.
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting/planning tools.
• Ability to define business requirements and design process solutions.
• Experience in engineering or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• English proficiency at least B2/C1.
• Willingness to work remotely and travel to Prague, Czech Republic once a month.

• Analyze and map actual and financial data.
• Document organizational structure related to tracking labor and NRE costs.
• Manage PO creation and fulfillment processes.
• Update and report on KPIs.
• Gather and define business requirements.
• Support configuration for transitioning from Excel to a dedicated tool.
• Develop concepts for space planning, workforce planning, NRE costs, investments, and resource allocation.
• Prepare mock-ups, dashboards, and implementation procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on the target operating model.
• Optionally support and implement detailed solutions.

I am looking for experienced specialists for an Senior Operations Specialist position for our client in the aviation industry.

Project Info:

Scale:

A lean team of ~60 employees across 3 departments, managing multiple projects.

Challenge:

Current data is fragmented across multiple Excel files, creating inefficiencies in reporting and decision-making.

Goal:

Develop a unified system to automate processes, reduce errors, and improve operational efficiency.

• Analysis and mapping of actual and financial data.

• Managing the purchase order (PO) creation and fulfillment process.
• Updating and reporting on KPIs.
• Gathering and defining business requirements.
• Supporting configuration for the transition from multiple Excel spreadsheets to a dedicated tool or system.
• Developing concepts for space planning, workforce planning solutions, NRE costs, investments, and resource allocation.
• Preparing mock-ups, dashboards, and implementation procedures for new solutions.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to align on the target operating model.
• (Optionally) supporting and implementing detailed solutions.

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of experience at a senior level in Finance and/or Operations.
• Experience in business process analysis and optimization.
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting/planning tools.
• Ability to define business requirements and design process solutions.
• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment will be a significant asset.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• English proficiency at a minimum B2/C1 level.
• Work remotely and travel to Prague, Czech Republic, for business once a month.
