Job summary

British Council in Warsaw is seeking an Operations Support Manager to support new product group teams and ensure operational processes across Delivery & Governance are clear, consistent, efficient and continuously improving. The role requires Lean/Six Sigma background, process documentation, and strong collaboration across Finance, Procurement, Legal, HR and IT.

The position is hybrid with a focus on cross-functional governance, risk management and process automation leveraging Microsoft 365,

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, process management or business improvement within a complex organisation.
• Proven success in analysing, redesigning and improving processes, delivering measurable outcomes.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and embedding change without direct line authority.
• Experience developing and maintaining process documentation and knowledge repositories (e.g. SharePoint, Confluence).
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams and process-mapping tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear guidance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a central catalogue of Delivery & Governance processes, ensuring documentation, templates and guidance are accurate, current and accessible.
• Work with process owners to document and standardise processes using tools such as process maps, SOPs and RACI frameworks.
• Manage process reviews, version control and change requests.
