Job summary

Meritus is seeking a highly energized operations leader to take control of the company’s delivery, billing, and support processes. You will work closely with the owners, have full visibility into ongoing work, and help turn strategic decisions into concrete actions.

You will own the Jira backlog, oversee status meetings, and ensure timely delivery while coordinating communications across teams and clients. This role is designed to grow into COO level, with staged responsibilities and clear KPIs.

Qualifications

• Three to five years coordinating projects or in an operations role. IT experience is a strong plus, but what matters most is organisation and getting things done.
• Ambition to take over the company's operations, and the willingness to start with hands-on work.
• Excellent organisational skills, independence and initiative: you don't wait for instructions, you see what needs doing.
• Strong communication and assertiveness: you can chase deadlines in a way that makes people want to work with you.

Responsibilities

• You will be the command centre and the management team's right hand, working directly with the owners and turning decisions into action.
• Keep implementation projects on schedule, run status meetings, and ensure agreements are documented and delivered.
• Own the backlog in Jira, monitor progress, identify blockers, and react when slips occur.
• Coordinate communication between the team, clients, and management, prepare status reports, and maintain project documentation and processes.
• Oversee four areas: projects, billing, support, and company affairs, including contracts, renewals, and office operations.
