Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for Onshore Wind Technical Due Diligence to lead independent engineering and advisory work for wind projects across countries. You will coordinate IE/TA activities, manage scope, schedule and budget, and act as the primary interface for lenders and developers.

You will mentor junior staff, develop risk mitigation strategies, and oversee site visits during construction and operation while promoting best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field with 4+ years in renewable energy or technical due diligence.
• Strong wind turbine technology knowledge and turbine technology assessments.
• Experience with TSA, BOP, O&M, PPA, asset management, and financing contracts.
• Fluent English; German/Italian/Polish a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage IE and TA projects for financing, acquisitions, and divestments of wind projects and portfolios.
• Prepare IE/TA reports with key findings, risks and recommendations; coordinate input from multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare proposals outlining scope of work, project approach, team structure, budget and schedule.
• Lead project execution by coordinating internal resources to meet deadlines, scope and budget.
• Serve as primary client interface for lenders, developers and stakeholders; foster client relationships.
• Develop communication plans, lead regular meetings, monitor project status.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies and recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices across projects.
• Conduct site visits during construction and operation and review progress against specs.
