Job summary

Kapten & Son is seeking a hands-on Operations Lead to join our on-site team in Bolesławiec, Poland. You will act as the extended arm of the brand at our external logistics partner’s warehouse, coordinating priorities with warehouse management and ensuring brand standards are implemented in daily operations.

You will build three key operational areas from scratch: returns and quality processes, a dedicated product customization area, and transparent performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse logistics or 3PL environment.
• Experience building processes and working standards.
• Experience collaborating with external logistics providers.
• Fluent Polish and good English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent Kapten & Son on-site at the external logistics partner's warehouse, coordinating priorities with warehouse management and ensuring brand requirements are followed.
• Develop clear inspection criteria and decision frameworks for returns, classify goods, and organise refurbishment with service providers.
• Build a dedicated product customization area with defined processes, work instructions and quality standards in collaboration with the logistics partner.
• Monitor KPIs and service levels, identify bottlenecks, document deviations and escalate when needed for transparency.
• Conduct regular quality checks on incoming goods and before dispatch, provide guidance to staff and drive continuous improvement.
