Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a Food Service Worker for on-site roles. You will prepare, present and serve meals, ensuring quality and proper presentation, and support daily operations in a busy food service setting.

Responsibilities include basic prep, stocking, cleaning, cashiering, and assisting customers with a friendly, efficient service. Prior food service experience is a plus, and good English communication is required to follow instructions and ensure safety and sanitation

Qualifications

• Familiar with the use of a cash register is an asset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage heavy workload.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting as required.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written, and ability to follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, present and serve meals, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Perform prep work including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits/vegetables.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays safely between stations.
• Store food following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Set up items for purchase and assist with cashiering and line serving.
• Maintain sanitation and safety compliance throughout the shift.
