Equinor Łeba offshore wind project is seeking an experienced Offshore Technician with strong electrical and/or mechanical background to join a multinational operations team. The role involves maintaining and repairing wind turbines and offshore infrastructure, with a shift pattern and international collaboration across sites.

Qualificações

• Strong technical background – electrical and/or mechanical, gained in wind industry or other relevant industrial sectors.
• Hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of technical equipment – wind turbines is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including electrical and hydraulic diagrams, mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Strong focus on safety, including knowledge of electrical safety rules and best practices from industrial environments.
• Willingness to obtain required authorisations, including HV (SEP) and UDT certifications if not already held.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems on offshore wind turbines, including high and low voltage equipment.
• Execute detailed reporting of all activities in line with company and offshore procedures.
• Ensure reliable and efficient operation of offshore assets with proactive maintenance.
• Continuously build and update technical knowledge in offshore wind turbine technology, safety requirements and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with turbine suppliers and offshore service teams for troubleshooting and maintenance campaigns.
• Support development and optimization of maintenance strategies and risk assessments to reduce downtime.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks related to offshore work environment and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with offshore operations teams to plan turbine downtime safely.
