Job summary

Oliver Bernard is seeking an experienced Observability Engineer for a Warsaw-based trading tech firm. You will lead the development of monitoring, telemetry, and automation across critical production systems.

The role covers OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, and CI/CD pipelines; strong Linux and scripting skills required. This greenfield initiative offers scale and challenging traffic patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience in observability platforms and monitoring.
• Strong experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
• CI/CD, Cloud and DevOps experience would be ideal.
• Automation and scripting with Python and/or Bash required.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Ansible or Puppet.
• Solid knowledge of Linux infrastructure.
• Experience in large-scale distributed IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate the observability platform across production systems.
• Develop monitoring, telemetry, metrics and tracing solutions to support scaling and performance.
• Collaborate with infra teams to drive automation and reliability.
