Westinghouse Electric Company in Kraków is seeking an Engineer – Networking to join the Network Operations team. You will support global network operations, handle vulnerability remediations, and manage incidents from the service queue, in a hybrid role with two days in the office.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering or related field, 3+ years of hands-on network support, and familiarity with Cisco routers/switches and Arista gear.

Engineer – Networking

Reporting to the Network Operations Supervisor, you will perform operational responsibilities as part of the Network Operations team. This involves operational support of our global network, vulnerability remediations, and work from the service queue. You will work in hybrid mode with 2 days at the office.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents out of the network operations ticketing queue.
• Work through vulnerability remediations.
• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
• Support network monitoring and performance optimization.
• Help with the response to priority incidents.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on network improvement projects.
• Help implement network automation.
• Ensure redundancy and disaster recovery configurations are in place, coaching the team where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering or related field.
• Experience in a complex, global engineering and manufacturing organization.
• High level of understanding in the network, telecom, and firewall fields.
• Experience in project managing small projects.
• Experience delivering highly complex, global programs and projects.
• Open to travel once or twice a year for projects or team building sessions.
• 3+ years of hands‑on support and troubleshooting of networks.
• Proficient in Cisco routers and switches; experience with Arista switches and Cloud Vision Portal.
• Familiarity with Nexus switches, Python, and SolarWinds NCM; Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager, Cisco Prime/DNA, Cisco/Arista Wireless, and Cisco SDWAN.

The gross base salary range for this position, dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 9,250 to 11,600 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
