Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Quality Development Engineer in Lublin, Poland, to lead quality activities for new product development and manage PPAP processes with international teams.

The role requires a degree in a technical field and strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, and ISO/IATF requirements. Fluency in English is essential; travel up to 40% may be needed. An inclusive, global work environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
• Ability to work in international cross-functional teams and travel 20-40%.
• Fluent English; German or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality activities for new product development projects.
• Coordinate quality deliverables across all development phases.
• Define and maintain Control Plans, inspection strategies, and testing requirements.
• Coordinate PPAP preparation, validation, and customer submissions.
• Analyze quality issues and drive corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate product and process quality risks with teams.
• Manage customer quality concerns and deviations with direct customer contact.
