Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the Exterior & Lighting group in Gliwice, Poland. You will lead APQP and PPAP activities with suppliers, drive on-time PPAP approvals, and monitor project milestones to ensure launch readiness.

In this role you will develop suppliers, manage PDCA actions, run Run@Rate activities and audits, validate part quality and packaging, and support continuous improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automotive Supplier Quality or Program Quality.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, and 8D.
• Experience with supplier development and quality management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality validation.
• Experience with Run@Rate and supplier audits (VDA 6.3 is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence and challenge suppliers.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English – upper-intermediate
