Job summary

HeadHR is seeking a seasoned Architect/Tech Lead to shape end-to-end mobile solutions across iOS and Android. You will own architecture, drive clean code, and guide cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include discovering requirements, mentoring teams, integrating APIs, and ensuring security and scalability. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement in Poland with competitive benefits and ownership over technology decisions.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of experience as an Architect, Tech Lead, or Senior Developer.
• Hands-on experience in building end-to-end solutions from design through release and maintenance.
• Mobile app architecture with native iOS/Android technologies and cross-platform frameworks.
• Architectural experience in Flutter with strong iOS/Android understanding.
• Knowledge of clean architecture, design patterns, performance optimization, and security.
• Experience with APIs, backend, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and test automation.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum and able to communicate with clients in English (min B2).

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture, APIs, and integrations; evaluate costs, security, and performance.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and support presales with proposals and estimations.
• Guide teams through the project lifecycle; organize Sprint 0 and CI/CD setup.
• Mentor, review code, enforce clean code, and manage technical risks.
• Ensure data security and optimize workflows using AI tools.
• Design solutions for iOS and Android and connect applications with APIs and hardware.
• Support publishing and maintenance of apps in production.

Job description

Requirements

• Min. 4 years of experience as an Architect, Tech Lead, or Senior Developer. Hands-on experience in building end-to-end solutions (from design through release and maintenance).
• Mobile app architecture. Practical experience with native iOS/Android technologies (Swift, Kotlin) and cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native, KMP).
• Architectural experience in Flutter combined with an excellent understanding of native iOS and Android.
• Clean architecture, clean code, design patterns, and modularity. Strong knowledge of performance optimization, mobile security, offline modes, and data management.
• API integrations, backend, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), as well as CI/CD processes and test automation.
• Evaluating trade-offs (cost/time/technology). Leading workshops and presentations. Effective communication between Development and Business. Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• English at min. B2 level (ability to work comfortably directly with clients).

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a software house / digital agency (projects for external clients, fixed-price models).
• Experience working with international, distributed teams.
• Creating Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and prototypes.
• Leveraging AI tools to support the development process.

• Designing end-to-end architecture, APIs, and integrations. Analyzing requirements, selecting technologies, and evaluating their impact on costs, security, and performance. Creating technical documentation.
• Facilitating discovery workshops, supporting presales processes (proposals, RFPs, estimations), and presenting solutions to clients.
• Guiding teams through the entire project lifecycle. Organizing Sprint 0 (CI/CD setup, environments, repositories). Mentoring, conducting code reviews, enforcing clean code principles, and managing technical risks.
• Ensuring data security, collaborating across all departments, and optimizing workflows using AI tools.
• Designing solutions tailored for iOS and Android.
• Connecting applications with APIs and hardware. Managing app performance, security, offline capabilities, and data.
• Supporting teams in publishing and maintaining applications in production.
