Job summary

Universal Investment in Kraków is seeking a Middle Office professional to handle trade confirmations, settlement instructions, and daily liaison with front office, clients, brokers, custodians, and fund accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support trade confirmation processing and settlement instruction creation across multiple products.
• Daily contact with front office, clients, brokers, custodians, and fund accounting to resolve inquiries.
• Monitor trades to ensure timely settlement, pre-match, cancel and re-book where needed.
• Index securities transactions and dispatch documents to accounting.
• Enter, match, check and validate transferable securities transactions.
• Send settlement instructions to custodian banks and process payments.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Servicing all aspects of trade confirmation processing and settlement instruction creation and dispatch across multiple products traded
• Daily contact with front office, clients, brokers, custodians, and fund accounting to resolve trade related enquiries, trade discrepancies settlement issues
• Monitoring trades to ensure timely settlement processing. Pre-matching, cancelling, and re-booking of trades
• Indexing of securities transactions and dispatching of documents to the accounting department,
• Entering, matching, checking, validating for transferable securities transactions
• Sending settlement instructions to custodian banks
• Processing payment instructions

Your skills and experience:

• Experience in Middle Office function - good knowledge of the functioning of collective investment vehicles, the business of the Custodian Bank, cycles, and systems of settlement of securities,
• University degree in Economics or Finance (or equivalent),
• Fluency in English
• Strong analytical skillset and attention to details, solution orientation
