Job summary

Vention is seeking a Ruby developer to join our Warsaw team. You will deliver production-ready code, participate in the full SDLC, and collaborate in Scrum ceremonies. The role emphasizes scalable solutions, code reviews, and automated testing in a dynamic AI-driven environment.

We welcome 3+ years of Ruby experience, PostgreSQL and MongoDB knowledge, TS/Vue/React frontend skills, and English communication at B2 level or higher. Hybrid work in Warsaw with global clients offered.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on software development with Ruby.
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB).
• Frontend skills in HTML, CSS, TypeScript and Vue.js or React.
• Practical testing with RSpec and Cucumber.
• Proficient English (B2+) for client communication.
• Experience with AI tooling for development workflows.
• Cloud knowledge (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to scalable solutions with production-ready code.
• Participate in full SDLC including business logic and features.
• Collaborate in Scrum ceremonies and knowledge-sharing events.
• Support project estimation and planning to align with business goals.
