Job summary

Philips in Łódź, Poland, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain Philips Healthcare equipment across hospitals and clinics. Strong electronics/IT background and willingness to travel are essential. Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree, 0–2 years of service experience, and good English/Polish language skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Solid foundations in electronics and IT/computer systems.
• 0-2 years of experience servicing medical devices.
• Recent graduates should show strong motivation to learn and grow in medical technology and field service.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Polish and English at least B2; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot Philips Healthcare equipment to the highest quality standards.
• Respond to emergency equipment failures with timely corrective actions, including next-day on-site support when required.
• Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and corrective repairs to keep systems running reliably.
• Collaborate with technical support, logistics, and customers to deliver exceptional service.
• Continuously develop expertise by learning about the latest healthcare technologies.
• Ensure critical medical devices are ready when needed to impact patient care.
