Job summary

Philips in Łódź is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain, and troubleshoot Philips Healthcare equipment across hospitals in the Łódź region. This field-based role combines technical expertise with customer interaction to ensure devices operate reliably and patient care remains uninterrupted.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to urgent failures, and collaborate with support and logistics teams while continuously expanding your knowledge of healthcare technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong foundations in electronics and IT/computer systems.
• 0–2 years of experience servicing medical devices; highly motivated fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills; Polish and English (B2) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot Philips Healthcare equipment to the highest quality standards.
• Respond to emergency equipment failures and provide timely corrective actions, including next-day on-site support when required.
• Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and corrective repairs to keep systems running reliably.
• Collaborate with technical support teams, logistics, and customers to deliver exceptional service.
• Continuously develop expertise by learning about the latest healthcare technologies.
• Ensure critical medical devices are ready when needed to support patient care.
