Job summary

DOU Polska is seeking a self-driven Mechanical Engineer to push mechanical innovation from concept through to high-volume production. You will develop high-fidelity CAD models, perform design verification, and coordinate with Electrical, Firmware, and Optical teams to ensure robust cross-functional integration.

This role emphasizes DFM/DFA, supplier liaison, and field support to maintain product quality, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical design experience in consumer electronics, IoT, or related fields.
• Experience with injection-molded plastics and material selection.
• Strong GD&T knowledge per ISO/ASME standards.
• Ability to perform tolerance stack-up analysis and hardware validation.

Responsibilities

• Drive mechanical component development from concept to mass production with CAD models, drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Firmware, and Optical engineers for integrated hardware performance.
• Lead mechanical validation tests including fit, stress, and thermal analyses, with iterative prototyping.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Lead design reviews, risk assessments, FMEAs, and maintain engineering documentation.
