Job summary

BOS Group in Katowice is seeking a Mechanical/Automotive engineer to design and develop automotive components. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings in CATIA V5, maintain engineering documents in PDM/PLM, and support ECOs and BOM updates.

Strong GD&T and DFm knowledge are essential for robust, manufacturable designs. You will work in an international environment, collaborate with manufacturing and project teams, and participate in product improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Technical background in Mechanical, Automotive, or Plastics engineering.
• Experience in product design and development in automotive/manufacturing.
• Strong CATIA V5 skills for 3D modeling, assembly design and 2D drafting.
• Hands-on design of plastic parts and assemblies with DfM understanding.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and tooling constraints.
• Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional tolerance management.
• Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and engineering documentation processes.
• Ability to collaborate with manufacturing, tooling and project teams.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in international teams and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and update 3D models and 2D drawings in CATIA V5 according to standards.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation in PDM/PLM systems.
• Support design and development activities for automotive components and assemblies.
• Apply GD&T in technical documentation.
• Implement ECOs and update BOMs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve technical solutions.
• Support prototype and sample build activities.
• Contribute to product improvement and continuous development projects.
