Job summary

Signify in Poland is offering a Development Engineer Mechanics Intern role in Kętrzyn. You will join the R&D team and work on early‑stage product development, prototyping, and documentation while rotating through production and testing activities.

Ideal candidates are fresh graduates or students in mechanical engineering, able to commit 20–25 hours per week, with English proficiency and strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or ongoing university studies in mechanical engineering.
• Availability to work at least 20–25 hours per week (preferably 40h).
• Strong organizational skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Support the team at all stages of a new product development project, from requirements assessment to design proposals, documentation, prototyping and testing.
• Assist in creating 3D designs and 2D documentation in a CAD environment (SolidEdge); build prototypes for testing.
• Learn the organization, product portfolio and architecture.
• Gain knowledge of our production process, labs, project structure, and industrialization through rotations.
• Learn and use tools and methodologies used in the development process.
