Job summary

Electrolux Group is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to join our R&D team in Żarów, Poland. You will own mechanical design from concept through industrialization for CARE products, delivering robust, manufacturable components.

You will work with an international, cross-functional team and collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to optimize cost, quality and performance. You will develop 3D/2D CAD models, define test plans, and support documentation (BOM, manuals) while driving

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in mass production development.
Experience with plastic injection moulding component or sheet metal stamped design.
Strong CAD modelling and drafting skills (CATIA V5 a plus).
Knowledge of FEA, plastic mold-flow, and sheet metal formability simulation.
Fluent English.

Responsibilities

Create mechanical design solutions meeting technical and performance specs (reliability, manufacturability, safety, quality, cost).
Design components from concept to industrialization, with standardization and modularization.
Create and maintain 3D/2D models in CAD (PLM).
Define test plans to verify design robustness with Development Lab and Quality teams.
Support component specifications and test manual definitions.
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing to drive solution analysis.
Assist project documentation and regulatory compliance (BOM, technical manuals).
Support cost and quality improvement activities with Regional Product Care.
