Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Poland is seeking a design-focused engineer to join our Optical Communications team. You will participate in designing new products and adapting existing ones within international design groups, collaborating with development and product engineers to move ideas into production.

The role requires strong CAD experience (CREO, SolidWorks, Inventor), FEM knowledge, GD&T, and 3 years of experience. English fluency and a hands-on, collaborative mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Mechanics and Machine Construction or related.
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD (CREO Parametric, Solid Works, Inventor).
• Experience with FEM analysis and GD&T is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design of new products in international design groups.
• Collaborate with development and product engineers to implement products into the production process.
• Participation in the design of machinery and equipment supporting the production process.
• Implementation of modern solutions (Capabilities - e.g.: Augmented Reality) supporting design processes and communication with external and internal clients.
• Realization and presentation of your own ideas.
• Development of prototypes.
• Supporting other departments in project collaboration.
