Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a skilled engineer with a background in mechanics or mechatronics to contribute to the design and adaptation of new products in international teams. You will collaborate with development and product engineers to transfer designs into production, and you will help design machinery supporting the production process.

The role requires proficiency in 3D CAD tools, knowledge of GD&T and FEM analysis, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Higher education in mechanics/mechatronics or related field.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools (CREO, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar).
• Knowledge of GD&T and FEM analysis.
• Fluent English, strong communication and teamwork.
• 3 years of experience in a role with similar scope.

Responsibilities

• Design new products and adapt existing products in international design groups.
• Collaborate with development and product engineers to implement new products into production.
• Design machinery and equipment supporting the production process.
• Implement modern design solutions (e.g., AR) for processes and client communication.
• Develop prototypes and present ideas.
• Support other departments in project collaboration.
