DFDS Poland is seeking a Master Data Specialist to create, maintain, and ensure the quality of product data for DFDS duty-free shops and ports, collaborating with local units and cross-functional teams across countries.

For our Master Data Products team, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with product data, understands operational processes, and knows how accurate data supports retail operations and customer experience.
If you have experience with Master Data, ERP systems, or working with large operational datasets, this role will be a great fit. This is not a Business Analyst or BI position–it is a hands-on, process-driven role with a strong impact on daily operations.
As a Master Data Specialist, you will collaborate with local business units and cross-functional teams across multiple countries. Your main responsibility will be to create, maintain, and ensure the quality of product data for DFDS duty-free shops on board vessels and in ports. You will also help improve Master Data processes by identifying gaps, suggesting improvements, and supporting standardisation efforts. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency and customer experience.
Create, maintain, and update product records in DFDS system
Ensure accuracy and consistency of pricing, units of measure, and categorisation
Support bulk updates, data clean-up, and product standardisation
Work with large datasets in Excel using functions such as XLOOKUP, MAX IF, TRIM, ROUND, LEN, LEFT, and RIGHT
Validate pricing updates, compare datasets, and identify inconsistencies
Investigate issues raised by onboard teams and Category Managers
Identify root causes and elevate to technical team where needed
Monitor how Master Data moves through the organisation and identify areas for improvement.
Suggest changes that increase data accuracy and make processes more efficient.
Represent the Master Data team in cross-functional discussions and ensure standards are followed.
Manage tasks through ticketing systems
Prioritise multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate closely with your team and stakeholders across countries (Denmark, Lithuania, France, UK, Spain)
Hybrid model: 2–3 days per week in our Poznań office.
For new joiners, we recommend spending the first 2–3 weeks in the office for smooth onboarding.

Someone who:
Has 3–4 years of experience in Master Data or similar roles
Is comfortable working in English (min. B2 level)
Has strong Excel skills and enjoys working with large datasets
Has an analytical mindset and strong attention to detail

Is curious, proactive, and enjoys solving problems
