Job summary

Sungrow, a global leader in PV inverter and storage solutions, seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Poland to drive NPI transfers and optimize production. You will collaborate across R&D, Production, and Quality to resolve DFM issues, improve processes, and ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing of PV inverters and energy storage products.

Applicants should have a technical degree and 2+ years in manufacturing process engineering, with PFMEA experience and a hands-on problem-solving

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering or related industry.
  • Experience with PV inverters or energy storage systems is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of electrical components and schematics.
  • Experience with PFMEA, Process Flow, SOPs and quality tools.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on approach.
  • MS Office; CAD and manufacturing systems (SAP, PLM, MES/MOM) are a plus.
  • English (B2+); Polish is a plus.
  • Proactive, cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Production, Quality.

Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Introduction and transfer to mass production.
  • Identify and resolve DFM and manufacturing process issues; close improvement actions.
  • Assist R&D in validating new components and processes.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for PV inverters and storage products.
  • Conduct PFMEA and process risk assessments to prevent issues.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Optimize processes to improve quality, efficiency and cost competitiveness.
  • Support selection of electrical components and materials.
  • Contribute to process standardisation and continuous improvement.

Being a Manufacturing Process Engineer is an exciting task, since you are the superhero, our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs; therefore, these here are your most important tasks:

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth transfer of new products into mass production.
  • Identify and resolve DFM and manufacturing process issues and follow up improvement actions to closure.
  • Support R&D in the introduction and validation of new components, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for PV inverter and energy storage products.
  • Conduct PFMEA and process risk assessments to identify and prevent potential production issues.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process flow charts and other process documentation.
  • Optimise existing processes to improve quality, efficiency and cost competitiveness.
  • Support the selection and introduction of electrical components and materials, such as wires, terminals and connectors.
  • Support process standardisation, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement activities.
Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s the reason why it is essential for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, industrial automation, power electronics or a related industry.
  • Experience with PV inverters, energy storage systems, power supplies or other electrical/electronic products is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of electrical components and basic electrical schematics.
  • Experience with PFMEA, Process Flow, SOPs and other manufacturing quality tools.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with a hands-on approach.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with CAD is an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP, PLM, MES/MOM or other manufacturing systems is an advantage.
  • Good command of English (B2 or above). Polish is a plus
  • Proactive, responsible and able to work effectively with R&D, Production, Quality and other functions.
