Job summary

Sungrow Europe is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Poland to drive NPI transfers and scale up production for PV inverter and energy storage products. You will partner with R&D, Production and Quality to resolve PFMEA risks, optimize processes and maintain critical manufacturing documentation.

The role requires a degree in electrical, power electronics or related fields, 2+ years of manufacturing process experience, and hands-on problem solving with SAP/PLM/MES systems as advantages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, industrial automation, power electronics or a related industry.
  • Experience with PV inverters, energy storage systems, power supplies or other electrical/electronic products is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of electrical components and basic electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth transfer of new products into mass production.
  • Identify and resolve DFM and manufacturing process issues and follow up improvement actions to closure.
  • Support R&D in the introduction and validation of new components, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for PV inverter and energy storage products.
  • Conduct PFMEA and process risk assessments to identify and prevent potential production issues.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process flow charts and other process documentation.
  • Optimise existing processes to improve quality, efficiency and cost competitiveness.
  • Support the selection and introduction of electrical components and materials, such as wires, terminals and connectors.
  • Support process standardisation, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement activities.

About

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s the reason why it is essential for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, industrial automation, power electronics or a related industry.
  • Experience with PV inverters, energy storage systems, power supplies or other electrical/electronic products is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of electrical components and basic electrical schematics.
  • Experience with PFMEA, Process Flow, SOPs and other manufacturing quality tools.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with a hands‑on approach.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with CAD is an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP, PLM, MES/MOM or other manufacturing systems is an advantage.
  • Good command of English (B2 or above). Polish is a plus
  • Proactive, responsible and able to work effectively with R&D, Production, Quality and other functions.
