Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a QA tester to join an agile IT team in Poznań, Poland. You will perform manual testing across functional, integration, and E2E levels, verify REST APIs with Postman, and work with SQL databases to ensure data accuracy.

Collaboration with Developers, Analysts, and the Product Owner will be key to delivering high-quality releases. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication of defects, and adherence to Scrum practices in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing of IT systems.
• Experience in planning testing activities and creating test scenarios and test cases.
• Hands-on experience in functional, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL and databases; ability to analyze data and verify logs.
• REST API testing using Postman.
• Experience with test management, bug tracking, and documentation tools (Jira, TestRail, Confluence).
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; communicate defects, risks, and test results.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Project

You will join a team responsible fortesting and ensuring the quality of an IT system throughout different stages of the software development lifecycle. Your role will focus onfunctional, integration, regression, and E2E testing, as well as API and database testing. You will work closely with Developers, Analysts, and the Product Owner to identify defects and ensure the quality of delivered solutions.

Responsibilities you'll have

Performing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end (E2E) testing at different stages of the software development lifecycle

TestingREST APIs using Postman

Working withdatabases and SQL for testing purposes

Managingtest cases and defects in Jira and TestRail

Analyzing test results, identifying and documentingdefects

Creating and maintainingtest documentation

Collaborating closely with Developers, Analysts, and the Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum environment

Expected competences and knowledge

Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing of IT systems, preferably within large-scale or enterprise environments

Experience in planning testing activities and creatingtest scenarios and test cases
