Job summary

AMS is seeking an experienced Talent Technology Implementation Lead / Functional Consultant to drive medium to large-scale talent technology transformations. You will lead end-to-end implementations of ATS, CRM, VMS, and Talent Intelligence platforms, partnering with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, adoption-led solutions.

• Hands-on experience in: Solution Design, System Configuration, UAT & Testing, Deployment & Go-Live, Change Management, Training & Adoption.
• Strong project management experience across medium to large-scale transformation programs.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading project resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and optimization projects across ATS, CRM, VMS, and Talent Technology platforms.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to gather business and technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and functional designs.
• Configure systems, support integrations, manage testing cycles, and oversee go-live activities.
• Drive solution design, process optimization, and adoption of implementation best practices.
• Manage multiple project workstreams, project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Develop sprint plans, testing strategies, cutover plans, training programs, and deployment schedules.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues to ensure delivery against scope and timelines.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Consultants, Analysts, and project team members.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Talent Technology Implementation Lead / Functional Consultant to lead the delivery of medium to large-scale talent technology transformation projects. This role combines functional consulting, project management, solution design, stakeholder management, and technology implementation expertise to help clients optimize their talent acquisition and workforce technology landscape.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading end-to-end implementations of ATS, CRM, VMS, and Talent Intelligence platforms, partnering with business stakeholders, technology vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that drive hiring efficiency and user adoption.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead end-to-end implementation and optimization projects across ATS, CRM, VMS, and Talent Technology platforms.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to gather business and technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and functional designs.
• Configure systems, support integrations, manage testing cycles, and oversee go-live activities.
• Drive solution design, process optimization, and adoption of implementation best practices.

Project & Program Management

• Manage multiple project workstreams, project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Develop and manage sprint plans, testing strategies, cutover plans, training programs, and deployment schedules.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues to ensure successful delivery against scope and timelines.
• Support project governance, reporting, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and senior stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Provide recommendations, risk mitigation strategies, implementation roadmaps, and platform expertise.
• Collaborate with business leaders, HR teams, technical teams, third-party vendors, and implementation partners.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and drive alignment across complex transformation initiatives.

Leadership & Team Development

• Coach, mentor, and develop Consultants, Analysts, and project team members.
• Lead knowledge transfer, system enablement, and user adoption activities.
• Support team capability building, hiring, onboarding, and continuous learning initiatives.
• Foster a high-performance and collaborative delivery culture.

Platform Expertise

• Maintain expertise across Talent Acquisition and Workforce Technology platforms.
• Stay informed on vendor roadmaps, emerging technologies, market trends, and industry best practices.
• Support clients with platform optimization and future-state technology strategies.

Skills & Requirements:

Must-Have Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in Functional Consulting, Technology Consulting, or Talent Technology implementation.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end implementation projects from discovery through post-production support.
• Strong client-side and consulting experience managing business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and translating needs into functional solutions.
• Hands-on experience in: Solution Design, System Configuration, UAT & Testing, Deployment & Go-Live , Change Management,Training & Adoption.
• Strong project management experience across medium to large-scale transformation programs.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, consulting, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading project resources.

Preferred Skills

Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Avature, Smart Recruiters, Cornerstone, Talent Link ,Phenom, Paradox, Greenhouse, Eightfold AI

Additional Experience

• Talent Technology transformation or optimization programs.
• ATS, CRM, and VMS integrations.
• Agile, Scrum, or Project Management methodologies.
• Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum).
• Experience working within global and geographically distributed teams.
• Experience with VMS platforms such as: Beeline, VNDLY
