Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an M&A Consultant / Senior Consultant to join the Operations team in Katowice/Wrocław, with a hybrid work setup (2 days in the office, 3 days remote). You will support Transact-to-Transform engagements across diverse industries, shaping solutions and guiding execution while aligning with strategic objectives.

The role focuses on defining approaches, performing analyses, and delivering client-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of operational consulting, transaction advisory, or related projects.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, IT and Operations interdependencies.
• Expertise in financial modelling and advanced Excel.
• Experience using AI, automation and digital tools in project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end operations workstreams across transformations and M&A transactions.
• Build and maintain Excel-based analyses, models, and data packs; gather data and synthesize insights.
• Analyze business functions and operational performance across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT and Corporate Functions.
• Assess operational risks, value creation opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate transaction and transformation workstreams and manage relationships with client stakeholders.
• Develop client deliverables including executive presentations and reports with strong storylines.
