Qualifications

We are looking for a Consultant / Senior Consultant to join our Operations team to support Transact-to-Transform engagements across a broad range of industries. In this role, you will primarily focus on defining the approach, shaping solutions, and guiding execution. You will help clients understand required changes across their operations landscape, business processes, and operating models, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

The opportunity

Our Operations team is one of the largest M&A advisory groups, focusing on transformation advice for private and public clients. Our deep operational expertise, sector knowledge, and global network of local market experts enable us to add real value to our clients' transactions and transformation initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end operations workstreams across strategic transformations and M&A transactions


• Build and maintain Excel-based analyses, models, and data packs; perform data gathering and analysis; and synthesize findings into structured insights and recommendations


• Analyze business functions and operational performance across areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, and Corporate Functions


• Assess operational risks, value creation opportunities, operational synergies, and performance improvement initiatives, and support the development of practical recommendations


• Coordinate transaction and transformation workstreams and manage relationships with client stakeholders, including senior management and C-level executives


• Develop high-quality client deliverables, including executive presentations, findings reports, business cases, steering materials, and client-ready PowerPoint outputs with a strong storyline and executive focus


• Translate business needs into practical operational improvement, transformation, and value creation initiatives


• Leverage AI tools and innovative approaches to enhance analysis, delivery efficiency, and identification of improvement opportunities

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3-6 years of professional experience in operational consulting, transaction advisory, due diligence, value creation, restructuring, transformation, or performance improvement projects


• Good understanding of business functions and their interdependencies, particularly Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, Operations, and SG&A


• Ability to assess business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development of practical recommendations


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modelling, advanced Excel, business case development, and financial analysis


• Experience using AI, automation, and digital tools to support analysis, insights generation, and day-to-day project delivery


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Operations Management or a related discipline


• Ability to travel and work across EU (up to 20% annually)


• Excellent written and verbal command of English and an additional European language (French, Spanish, Italian, or German preferred)


• Occasional work outside normal business hours to work with international teams (e.g. United States)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Preferred experience in M&A transactions (e.g., due diligence, synergy assessment, integration, separation, restructuring, or value creation)


• Experience in building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers


• Experience working in an international environment
