Job summary

Ericsson in Łódź is offering a 1-year internship for an LTE Developer to join the Software Development Team. You will work on 4G OneRAN projects and contribute to automated testing, systemization, and new features. Development centers on C++ with exposure to OpenShift and cloud computing, plus AI-related tooling.

You will collaborate in an Agile environment, learn quickly, and build skills through hands-on projects, mentorship, and training sessions in a real company setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, CS, or Software Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of C++, Git, software development, testing and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with OpenShift and cloud computing is a plus.
• Good English communication skills.

Start your career in Ericsson within our Internship Program in Łódź!

We are looking for a LTE Developer for a 1 year internship who is interested in becoming part of our Software Development Team.

In our team, you will be working on exciting, complex projects, focused on continuously enhancing 4G telecommunication products, especially OneRAN-oriented solutions and multi-deployment features.

In addition to troubleshooting and solution implementation, you’ll be involved in systemization, adding new functionalities, and improving existing ones. You will also work on developing automated unit and functional test cases. Development is mainly based on, but not limited to, the C++ language. The 4G OneRAN solution can be deployed on various platforms, which creates an opportunity to develop competences in virtualization and cloud computing.

You will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology to design, develop, and implement innovative 4G OneRAN technology solutions.
• Influence the development of Traffic Control, Baseband, and System functionalities.
• Work on the optimization and performance tuning of software components.
• Provide technical support for development teams.
• Develop competencies in a complex technical domain.
• Actively participate in and drive technical discussions on software quality with global teams inside and outside our unit.

The skills you bring:

Technical Skills:

• Finishing or completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Required technical knowledge and skills: C++, Git, software development, software testing, and software troubleshooting.
• Experience with OpenShift Container Platform and Cloud Computing is desirable.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Initial experience using AI tools in programming or testing (e.g. code assistants, log analyzers, or similar).
• Good spoken and written English skills.
