As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations related to external warehouses across the EMEA region while ensuring smooth material flow, regulatory compliance, and high service levels. You will play a key role in managing transportation activities, supporting import and export processes, and collaborating with logistics providers, customs agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate logistics operations with external warehouses across the EMEA region.
- Monitor logistics service providers' performance and ensure agreed service levels are achieved.
- Oversee material flows and identify opportunities to optimize warehouse and transportation processes.
- Prepare, review, and maintain export documentation to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Generate customer-required documents and additional trade compliance documentation, including Certificates of Origin (COO) and EUR.1 certificates.
- Maintain logistics documentation and records within SAP and other business systems.
- Prepare and review transportation quotations in line with customer requirements.
- Support AEO compliance activities and maintain required documentation.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of supplier and manufacturer declarations.
- Initiate and coordinate export declaration corrections when required.
- Cooperate with Customs Offices and Customs Agencies to ensure compliance with trade regulations.
- Partner with Procurement, Operations, Warehouse, and central logistics teams to support uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure adherence to customs regulations, Incoterms, and import/export requirements.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of logistics processes and transportation activities.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Practical knowledge of Incoterms and import/export processes.
- Experience coordinating transportation activities and managing logistics documentation.
- Understanding of customs procedures and international trade requirements.
- English proficiency sufficient for daily communication with international partners.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively under time pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating across teams.
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes in a fast‑paced operational environment.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience working with third‑party logistics providers (3PL) and external warehouses.
- Knowledge of SAP, MRP, TRIP, or other ERP/logistics management systems.
- Experience collaborating with customs agencies and government authorities.
- Understanding of AEO requirements and trade compliance processes.
- Knowledge of VAT and tax‑related aspects of international goods movement.
- Additional European language skills.
- Experience supporting multi‑country logistics operations within EMEA.
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements within logistics or supply chain functions.
