EMEA Logistic & Warehouse Manager Foundry
This role will take responsibility to manage the overall logistics and warehousing operations for the EMEA region. This position will lead logistic and warehouse activities, including import / export, and reporting requirements as well as a need for operational business excellence and cost reduction initiatives.
The objective of this role is to ensure all warehouse and logistic activities are executed effectively, with scrutiny and high attention to customer service. This role combines analysis and reporting along with hands‑on application to ensure excellence in the overall performance of the operations.
Principles roles and responsibilities:
- Lead an integrated Hub-and-Spoke distribution activity in EMEA region, including transport, warehousing and resource planning. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, material flow improvement, and business development
- Managing operationally and financially the 3-PL partner network
- Inform cost changes, shipment issues, supply concerns, report on all import activities including order management, logistics and shipping
- Actively engage in Order2Cash delivery process in EMEA region to ensure regional revenue and service level targets are delivered
- Service provider including review of monthly KPI’s, manage any service non‑compliances, provide input to Regional and Business Reviews ensuring carriers are operating at optimum level for EMEA regional Logistics
- Lead the deployment of transport planning primary processes across the region following the standard deployment methodology
- Through engagement in the regional transport and warehouse sourcing process, review and approve the sourcing strategy, develop portfolio of best in class global partners and support local selection where applicable
- Support the Sales and Operations Process and approve the supply and demand plans
- Ensure to respect SLA by managing key factors such as cycle count, inventory management, deliveries
- Management of the EMEA logistics team with transport and 3 rd party warehousing costs responsibility
- Build annual budgets, supporting monthly performance to budget reporting and analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Transportation from an accredited university
- 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Logistics or Transportation
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically with attention to detail
- Strong project management skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary
- Skilled in administrating transport management tools
- Demonstrated experience leading RFQs in a transport environment
Preferred skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) any additional language is a plus
- Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment focused on innovation
- Demonstrated attitude to influence teams outside of reporting structure
- Proven talent to lead a network of Hub-and-Spoke over various locations
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
- Exceptional influencing skills and demonstrable suite of change management communication experience
- Strong business transformation / change leadership experience
- Skilled to work independently with little oversight
- Ability to manage multiple programs with tight deadlines
